Flying Mermaid with Comb and Mirror

This mermaid represents the Balinese tale of a mermaid whose mirror reflected the image of a demon’s face back to the demon, The demon, having never before seen his reflection, fled in terror from the island. To this day the Balinese protect their homes and villages from such spirits by displaying above their doors masks of the faces of these demons. The mermaid comes with a string and hook for hanging and is available in either green or red. 16″ Long. Made in Bali.
